Why do you CrossFit?
If your car breaks down you can buy another one. If your body breaks
down you can not buy another one. I have one body and I want to be
able to do everything I can in it. If want to run I can, if I want
climb things I can, if I have to pick something heavy of the ground
for some reason I can, all without hurting my self. If the body
starts to look amazing in the process that is just bonus =)!

How long have you been coaching?
I've been coaching for about 8 years now but it feels like I just
started. Everyday I am always learning something new.

Why do you CrossFit?
I CrossFit because I love the competitive aspect and camaraderie.
Trying to stay in shape on your own is never easy. CrossFit provides
me with structure and a community to push me to my fullest potential.

How long have you been coaching?
2 Years.

What motivates you as a coach?
Seeing my athletes finally hit that big PR or master a new movement.
Nothing more exhilarating then seeing the excitement when hard work
pays off. My most exciting moments are coaching new athletes and
watching the light go off when they finally figure out a movement.

Do you have a sporting background before CrossFit?
I've been participating is sports my entire life. I was a gymnast
and soccer player starting at the age of 7. I continued soccer even
into my adult years. I also participated in track throughout middle
school and high school running the 100 and 200m hurdles, as well as
competing in high and long jump. But, my real passion has always
been volleyball. I've played continually since I was 12 years old,
both indoor and sand. I've also coached both volleyball and track
at the high school level.

Handstand push-up and snatch. My least favorite are thrusters.
